How to Pay Your Bill

Water Services

The Oranjemund Town Council is dedicated to providing safe, clean, and reliable water services to residents and businesses. Our water services include:

  • Water Supply & Distribution - Ensuring a continuous and quality water supply for households, businesses, and public facilities.
  • New Water Connections - Processing applications for new water connections and meter installations.
  • Meter Readings & Billing - Regular water meter readings, billing inquiries, and payment assistance.
  • Meter Leak Detection & Repairs - Identifying and repairing water leaks to prevent water loss and ensure efficiency.
  • Emergency Water Services - Rapid response to burst pipes, supply disruptions, and other emergencies.

Water Metering Services

The Oranjemund Town Council provides both conventional water meters and prepaid meters to ensure efficient water usage and billing for residents and businesses.

 

  1. Conventional Water Meters

    • Billed monthly based on actual water consumption.
    • Meter readings are taken regularly, and invoices are issued for payment.
    • Suitable for households, businesses, and institutions that prefer postpaid water services.

 

  1. Prepaid Water Meters

    • Allows users to purchase water in advance.
    • Helps monitor and manage water consumption efficiently.
    • Ideal for residential and commercial properties preferring pay as you go system.

How to Pay Your Bill

Residents and businesses can pay their water bills through the following methods:

  1. Online Banking - Payments can be made via banking apps
  2. Town Council Offices - Pay directly at the municipal offices during working hours.
  3. Direct Debit & EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)

Tariffs & Fees

Water tariffs are determined based on consumption and customer category (residential, commercial, or industrial). A detailed breakdown of tariffs and other service fees are available at the Oranjemund Town Council offices.
